EXHIBITION Opening event 4-6pm Saturday 30 September 2023 Finalist in the 'Into the Light', Whitewall Art Prize 2023 Whitewall Art Projects Gallery 10 vellore Street Berrima, NSW 'Into The Light' offers an opportunity to showcase the work of contemporary artists, whilst linking the visual arts with awareness of mental health; how the creative practice can influence the artist, and what the art can offer the viewer. The theme 'Into the Light', looks to showcase artwork that offers a sense of hope and light; a visual and emotional antidote to falling into darkness through the transformative power of art. This vear's World Mental Health Weeks theme explores Mind / Body / Environment, and works submitted must use one or more of the themes as inspiration for works submitted. |
